Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Values that underlie Corporate Social Responsibility are quality, authenticity, awareness, discovery, action, risk, adventure, experience and retention. Core values that integrate seamlessly with the company creed and brand platforms of Just Brands. Aircraft and engines must be refueled in order to preserve their function, this also applies to the earth. Translating our tough guy’s freedom into reducing pollution and increasing the freedom of social conditions of our manufacturers, creates a tough CSR platform.

Currently we are very active in the field of CSR. All our billing is now digitized and we are working on a paperless office. The premisse of Just Brands include an environmentally friendly heating system utilizing the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Furthermore motion sensors, light bulbs and timers are installed throughout the building.

Reach

Manufacturers working together with Just Brands, sign our Product Manual. It contains the rules of REACH. These rules contain a list of banned chemicals which should not be processed into our products. As a check, we test samples of our products. Centexbel

Oekotex 100

Oekotex is a certification program that goes further than REACH. Oekotex prohibits all harmful chemicals. Internal research has shown that we are 44.5 Oekotex certified. It is our goal to improve the percentage to a higher level in the coming years. Oekotex

Code of Conduct

Just Brands uses a Product Manual with clear production guidelines. In this manual you will find a Code of Conduct which every manufacturer is required to keep. This Code of Conduct is based on the International Labour Organization (ILO) standard, and includes working hours, working conditions, and the prohibition of sand blasting. The Product Manual is updated every 2 months and again communicated with the manufacturers. Every manufacturer, where production is placed must agree to the Product Manual. ILO

Greenway Logistics

Just Brands works with Greenway Logistics. In this way we participate in a collective logistics project. This ensures that the environment will be burdened as little as possible with the transport of packets. Just Brands also works with DHL, which has recently won the Lean and Green award. Suppliers

Just Brands takes responsibility for the conditions under which products of our brands are produced. All suppliers who produce Just Brands must work under specific working conditions, treat their employees fairly and with respect and comply with environmental and ethical practices. This code is based on the highest international standards and any supplier guarantees that the conditions are applied within their own production facilities and companies with which they collaborate. Just Brands visits the factories of the various brands a few times a year to supervise this.
