Overwhelming interest from the side of the press and the fashion loving Dutch public surrounded the first Cast Iron Fashion Show held in the Westergasfabriek on Friday 27 January during the Amsterdam Fashion Week.

At 8 pm the doors and the lounge were opened to the audience and at 10 pm the show started. Joost van Bellen organised the music in a spectacular way. The room was loaded with retailers and their assistents as well as VIPS like Marie van de Ven, Gordon and Regilio Tuur. DJ Marnix | Loveland took care of the music at the After Party with Johnny de Mol as special guest.



With her Autumn/Winter collection 2012 Cast Iron presents a balanced mix between the tailored and the denim world, intertwined in the collection. The mix of rawness and dressed-up prevails in the Cast Iron Autumn/Winter collection 2012. Emphasis is put on style and quality of the total product.



The source of inspiration are today’s knights: “Where are the knights of the 21st century?” and the “old heroes”, touched by time. Also noticeable are the influences of uniform and military, work wear, retro dress and denim, unexpected shapes and darts. Cast Iron, the new armor.
